The Technical Specs Sheets, the "DataTechs"

Our technical specifications sheets (or DataTechs) are put together by our technical and marketing team from a many different sources.  For ease of use and to help research information, each and every DataTech sheet is laid out according to the same framework.

DataTech sheets have over 300 fields, and carry detailed photographs of equipment (the document feeder, consumables, finishing units, etc.) to help sales people take all the information on board.

Sales Arguments


The DMO database includes over 400 strengths and weaknesses!

For each machine on the database, we provide negative and positive arguments in a simple and interactive fashion.

More than just a precise explanation of each strength and weakness, the objective is to highlight the advantage or the risk for the end user for each of these issues.


There are two types of argument on DMO:

- Generic arguments are set out by means of precise numerical data
(e.g. the class, speed or technology employed, etc.)

- Specific arguments are set out on the basis of equipment test results
(e.g. interface user-friendliness, tray closure systems, etc.)


These arguments add value to the sales presentations of our subscribers. 
Sales people get to know the strengths and weaknesses in their markets, and how to highlight the advantages of their products for end users.





Performance Testing

Since the beginning of this year, subscibers to DMO have had access to the performance test results of the machines listed in the database:  the DataTests!

DataMaster's technical team carries out performance tests in copy, print and scan modes on equipment  from the core of the manufacturers' ranges to give subscribers detailed and objective information on how the device handles each type of job.

Our testing procedures are based on a simple observation:  small- and medium-sized businesses' multifunctions are rarely overloaded with multiple jobs.  In addition, our DataTests are designed to reflect reality as close as possible being simple, everyday recurring jobs in businesses.

Presented in a graphical format and accompanied by technical and commercial comments, our DataTests are a reliable and efficient work tool for office equipment professionals.

These fifteen-page documents highlight one particular machine, and present the equipment in every detail.  Our subscribers use these documents to the full for focussing on a new machine in their range - or indeed on a competing piece of equipment.

Our aim is to give you the tools you need as printing solutions professionals, to help you out in the field, and - as always - to help you get on with your business faster.

Many sales people have to prepare tenders.  We have decided to develop an on-line tool dedicated to publications. 
The objective of this tool is to fill out and/or complete a tender in just a few clicks, and quickly to show everything about the machines which might fit the bill.
