Doxense releases Watchdoc 2015, major version update

18 958 2014

Based on the latest Microsoft technologies, Watchdoc 2015 is available in three versions: standard, express (for SMEs) and extended (high-availability version).

The key improvements and upgrades in Watchdoc 2015 are:
A new management console
The Watchdoc Supervision Console provides a central control point, providing monitoring and admin for all of an organization's Watchdoc servers.  The second version of WSC is now available with major advances in terms of configuration, ease of use and in daily management.

More MFPs covered
The Watchdoc Embedded Solution already allowed Watchdoc users to connect directly from compatible Konica Minolta, Lexmark, Ricoh, Samsung, Sharp and Xerox machines, and to pull their prints using a badge or an access code.  This is now available for Oki, HP and Toshiba with other brands under development.

New reports in Reporting Services
21 reports are currently available with the new version 3 of Watchdoc for Reporting Services. This set of reports allows regular and synthetic analysis of printing trends within the company.

Partnership with the online payment site Paybox
Watchdoc 2015 has moved with the times and offers students at schools and universities the means to top up their authorized print quota via the online site Paybox.
